It can be very confusing adding your Adsense ID into your PictureMyCamera account. Here are instructions.

First, visit http://www.google.com/adsense to create an account if you don't have one yet. Your Google ID is NOT your email address!!!

Once you have an account:

  • To find the Publisher ID, please log into your Google account.

  • On the top right, you will see a top right line with your email address, logout _link_, etc.

  • The line directly below says Publisher ID:

  • The string RIGHT AFTER that looks like pub-12293984383202020 is what you want to copy and paste into your profile here on PictureMyCamera.

If you already have Adsense going on other sites, you might consider creating a channel so you can figure out which revenue is coming from which site.

  • To add a channel, click on Adsense Setup tab, then Channels at the top.

  • Click Add New Custom Channel and follow instructions. Alternately, you can click Add URL Channel and type in http://typeamom.net, then save.

  • After creating a Custom Channel, if you opt to go that route, you want to place the number assigned to the channel into the Adsense Channel slot in your profile. DO NOT use words.

  • To add this information to your profile, log into your account.

  • Click "My Profile" in the top left menu

  • Mouse over "Edit," and then choose Update Your Profile

  • Add the Adsense numbers in the appropriate slots
